Description:
TPE Solutions, a thermoplastic elastomer supplier and formulator, is seeking a high-caliber Customer Support Specialist to join our team! We are a small office that does a large volume of business through teamwork and a constant drive for improvement. With new projects and challenging opportunities every day, this office is always abuzz with conversation and collaboration. We are a focused and dynamic team with a commitment to quality and innovation, and we hope to find a like-minded person to help us continue our growth.
The ideal candidate will be business minded, organized, dedicated, and will ensure the efficient operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, effective communication with customers, vendors, and colleagues, and ensuring all tasks and projects are completed on time.
Typical Tasks:
Receive and process purchase orders from customers
Use data to forecast and plan for production to meet customer needs
Track inventory, maintain accurate records in databases
Calculate pricing and profit margins
Calculate and procure raw material needs for production runs
Arrange freight and prepare shipping documents for both domestic and international shipments
Answer customer and vendor inquiries in a precise and timely manner
Work directly with the company President to develop business opportunities
Assist in other office tasks and special projects as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Associate’s Degree Required (Bachelor’s Preferred)
Mathematics and data analysis competency
Microsoft Office Suite expertise (particularly Excel and Outlook)
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Strong critical thinking skills
Customer oriented attitude with a friendly and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and with others
QuickBooks experience highly preferred or similar accounting software
Experience with shipping/receiving documents and/or inventory systems preferred

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (can be flexible)
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
